Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse: A History

 

This video tells the story of the Rockland Breakwater and the Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse at its end. The lighthouse has been a fixture of Rockland Harbor for over 100 years, yet many people don't know why or how it was built.

 

In addition to the history, the video takes the viewer on a complete tour of the interior of the lighthouse and details some of the restoration efforts.

 

This video was filmed over a 3 year period and includes extra video footage of the lighthouse in different seasons.
